How the World Cup 2026 knockout works
The 2026 World Cup is the first with 48 teams. After the group stage, 32 teams reach the knockout Round of 32 (the 12 group winners, 12 runners-up, and the 8 best third-placed teams). From there it's straight single-elimination: Round of 32 → Round of 16 → Quarter-finals → Semi-finals → Final on July 19. Fill in every winner above to predict the whole path to the trophy.
