Printable bracket searches are about the finished artifact. The export removes site navigation and controls, preserves entrant rows and connector structure, and uses a white background with high-contrast lines. Download PDF for a ready file or use the browser print dialog to send it directly to a printer.
PNG export is better for messaging apps and digital signage. PDF is better when page size and margins need to remain predictable across devices.
Printable brackets with names or blank lines
Type names before printing for a ready-to-run event. For a registration desk, use short placeholders such as Seed 1 or Team A and write the final names by hand. The same field calculation handles 4, 8, 16 and 32 entrants as well as irregular counts with byes.
Keep entrant labels concise. Long organization names can fit on screen but leave less room for handwritten scores on a printed page.
Printable bracket sizes, orientation and margins
Large brackets are naturally wide. Landscape orientation usually works best for 8 or more entrants; A4 and US Letter both work through the browser's page settings. For 32 or 64 entrants, use a larger sheet, scale to fit, or print selected rounds separately.
The print view avoids full-bleed backgrounds and decorative color, so office printers use less ink. Always inspect the browser preview because each printer has different non-printable margins.
Keep printable and live bracket results aligned
A paper bracket is resilient at a venue with weak connectivity, while the public online bracket is easier to share. Create the live tournament first, print a backup, then enter the confirmed results into the host page so remote viewers see the same state.
Do not publish the private host URL on the printed sheet. Use the public bracket link or its QR code for spectators and retain the management capability with the organizer.
